When I was younger, it was nothing more than "white & black..." or to be more descriptive, #fff & #000. Lucky for me, a few years back, I discovered (what I like to call)
my favorite white.
#e3e3e3 -- It's not as sharp a hit to the eyes when reading this over a black background.
